Updating with a couple of new colours -some of the Sally Hansen are more opaque - they are nice but I lean towards the more translucent that allows the shine of the metal through
If you keep the application thin . Nail polishes are enamels and too thick an application will cause chipping the same way as over application on your nails. The only reason I am using Sally Hanson was the price - even some dollar store polishes are just as good for working on the brass or copper stampings. Experiment and try samples before applying to a finished piece

Love this Idea! So do you apply some type of sealant afterward? Or do you just leave it as is? Is the Sally Hansen brand less prone to chippage?
