Stamped Solder

 Finishing up the pendants and the earrings. Cleaaned and dipped into Permalac EF  sealer then hung to dry  then assembled with copper jump rings and Niobium ear wires

Microscope Slide Pendants









 I created prints that will fit the microscope slides Used copper foil tape to hold them together Flux is applied to the copper tape  then the solder is applied I added jump rings to top and bottom  You can patina or leave plain I added a crystal T fhe bottom 

Stamping Solder

 Clean your copper  or brass   and apply liquid flux  Melt a pool  of solder  and use a red stamp ( high temp rubber stamp) to press into the hot sold Wait a moment for it to harded and peel off stamp You can remove extra solder by jyst running the  solder tip around edges  Let cool  and then patina   

The itemsbeliw are either brass or copper  no patina yet

Busy Busy Busy

 The weather is slowly changing and trying to get into the studio to work - Some Lampworking was accomplished with small boro hearts to go onto byzantine bracelets.  large heart pendant beads  and other glass lampwork.  A scrapbook crop and got  some of the Mothers day  paper heart shadow boxes done along with cutting some  laser earrings. Hoping this weekend more time in the studio  - Hooking up new Kiln I got in November and getting my big kiln running to make plates - Hopefully  more postings this year
