Bangle Distraction

I went to the studio since it was not freezing last night to continue to complete my booth set up changes (have a small trunk show this weekend at BeadFx) want to have something that I can use if I have 1/2 a table set up -

Got distracted by the rolling mill and solder station again - sitting right in front of me -  so I had to run a few wires through and make a few bangles and solder -

I just keep adding them to my arm - I did not patina the ones from last night - I do like those twisted ones - but you can see how nice the patterns from the roller show up on even the thinnest wire

Still using the first pattern roller - and playing today - once I ran some I decided to make some bangles and a ring - even tried those twisted bracelets as well
Heaters are on at the studio so been hanging out this weekend just playing around

mixed wire sizes with soldering at each end and twisted -  a bit on the flat side for my liking want it more dimensional - so I'll work on the next one - one I find the wire sizes I want then I can apply the patterns to give them a unique look

Beginning a new booth set up

Tired of trying to lay out all my stuff on a 2x6ft table -  I need to go with some height to get things more organized as well and to fit things better on the table

Got some metal grid panels  - two for each corner
got some  peg hooks to hang my  jewelry cards (just revamped a bunch )
got some J-hooks that stick to the back of the cards and make it easier to hang - and easier to get off the peg
I measured a rod to go across - so I can hang my fish at about eye level
I got some baskets that hook onto the grid - so I can put my copper bracelets and my dichro above the table and out of the way

I started by assembling - without the table and hanging items to test it out and see what I need to fill it out

starting to come together - the top baskets may have to be replaced with a shelf

Free Weekend - Yeah

I would normally be going to a show this weekend but I opted out of it a while ago - I thought the trunk show was this weekend but its the following - which is great -leaves me free to finish prepping for winter outside  - just a few items to go

I hope to play with my rolling mill and make some new fish (made some last sunday night  - they just need wiring up -

need to make at least another dozen (above these 4 ) to bump up my stock - at any time I like to have a couple of dozen but I'm down to about 8  right now

I want to play with my rolling mill and start my collar/bracelet wire project and jet a prototype out this weekend - unfortunately its supposed to drop to -3c degrees this weekend  -so I'll put the heaters on in the studio friday night  (fixed my forced air blower heater with a new plug last weekend and got it working )  if I can maintain about 40-50 degrees and have a heater aimed at me when playing I can stay warm enough

Last weekend I re-carded all my heart earrings, and pendants (you can see new cards on the give-a-way ) and put my turtles on cards as well - now to work on a better presentation for my booth to hold these cards and I carded about 100 new dichro pendant pieces as well

Need to cut more glass and fire and prep for pendants, more bracelets need to be done and figure out a better way to present them on the table as well and mark them with their sizes to make it easier to see what I have left.

Lots to do over the winter to get done - including finish my ceramic beads that need painting

Yeah - got it done and I did some testers - so pumped - cant wait for the weekend when I have more time to do some things
