Laser engraved images on dichroic glass - First try

Used my XTOOL Laser cutter to etch into dichroic glass .

My first  effort -  Painted the surface with black paint so that the laser did not reflect

I was setting up my butterfly wing pattern and a mandala

Was amazed with results but first tries were too deep (which totally surprised me )

I adjusted the depth and  tried again
once I got the  detail I wanted and depth I cut them  out and ground them down and then fired them
then I did a copper  foil around edges and soldered them
no patina

  2. Hi, which xtool laser do you use to engrave glass? My xtool f2 ultra doesn't work on glass.
